Curriculum: Upper School

The Upper School program provides excellent academic opportunities for the average
to above average student. Students can choose from standard, advanced, honors and
Advanced Placement courses to create a profile of learning
that is best for them. In these courses, students wrestle with the ideas and events
that have shaped humanity, explore the character of God and His creative works,
and celebrate the depth and beauty of man's greatest achievements. The rigor of
our curriculum is matched by the school's commitment to small classes, a daily tutorial
period, and a well-supported advisory system that fosters an environment of encouragement
and support.
Our fine arts and athletic departments compliment our academic program. In addition
to the courses that are offered, our students have opportunities to develop their
talents in the studio, on the stage and on the field.
Through the academic program, the co-curricular activities, the required community
service experience and our regular chapel services our students mature into young
men and women who are prepared for college and life.
