Annual Fund

Dear St. David's Community,

We hope you enjoyed your Fall Break! If you are like us, it was a much needed respite focused on outdoor activities and closet cleaning! If we have not had the pleasure of meeting you, we are Angie and Tom Rhoads. Our three children, Sophie, Josh, and Christopher are in the 7th, 6th, and 4th grade, respectively, at St. David's. As we write you today, we are a family full of excitement and gratitude for the blessing that St. David's School has been in our lives for the past seven years.

Since our first day of school, St David's has delivered an exceptional educational experience, arts program and competitive athletics, all built on a granite foundation of Christian principles wrapped in a loving community. To say the least, we are VERY excited about our school!

As parents, we have partnered with St. David's to help fulfill Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.” In our view, they have excelled in their responsibilities by upholding this verse and their mission: to prepare each child for college and life by providing challenging opportunities to excel in the vital areas of faith, virtue, and knowledge. 

By now you probably agree with our assessment and are beginning to wonder why we are writing so beautifully about St. David's School?! Our hope is that, like us, you will choose to support the St. David's Annual Fund.

You may also be asking, like we did our first year, does tuition not cover all of their expenses? The answer is “No, not even close.” To provide the exceptional teachers, education, programs and community that St. David's works tirelessly to deliver, the costs are much higher than tuition revenue alone. The Annual Fund provides a necessary “bridge” to provide our children and this community a unique and lasting opportunity. Your participation in the Annual Fund, whether small, large or humongous , ensures our ability to help Sustain the exceptional St. David's experience; Support every student, teacher, advisor, and coach at St. David's; Connect with other members of the St. David's community. Your participation in the Annual Fund Drive matters, as each dollar we give to the Annual Fund makes a difference.  Preparing our children for the future is a mission worthy of our generous gifts!
