What is scrip and how can it help our school?
Scrip is our new and extremely easy fundraiser. It is so simple to use and cost nothing, yet at the same time our school benefits tremendously! How does it work? You simply purchase gift cards from St. David's for stores where you already shop. You are paying face value for these cards, yet St. David's is able to receive a certain percentage back for each purchase.
For example, perhaps you purchase $200 for Kroger, we receive 5% of that for our school. Now, to expand on that--if 400 families at St. David's purchased only $200 a month towards any gift card, we could earn close to $50,000 for our school! Is that not amazing? And best of all, these are all stores that we use every day!
The complete list of offerings is exhaustive, but we have created a St. David's form for our use with local stores.
Some local stores include Kroger, Food Lion, Fresh Market, Panera, Starbucks, Dicks Sporting Goods, American Eagle, BP gas, Exxon just to name a few. Stop and think about gifts for birthdays, Christmas, teacher gifts, even vacations can be purchased through Scrip.
