Welcome from the Athletics Department
The Athletic Program at St. David’s School strives to enhance the overall mission of our school by excelling in the vital areas of faith, virtue, and knowledge. This is accomplished through developing a Christ-centered community, commitment to academic excellence, character building and the development of each student-athlete’s unique gifts. Our goal is to enable our athletes to honor God through their actions at the highest levels of competition.
The Warriors are a proud member of the NCISAA and have a wide array of athletic opportunities for students in grades 6-12. Through a comprehensive program of interscholastic sports, our athletes compete in basketball, baseball, softball, football, tennis, soccer, volleyball, cross-country, track, swimming, lacrosse and golf. Our cheerleading squads help promote school spirit, enthusiasm, and support for our teams.
With 23 state athletic championships, St. David’s offers students the opportunity to be part of an outstanding athletic program that will shape character, develop leadership skills, and create a lifetime of memories.

|Winter Track and Conditioning|
Now that the winter weather is upon us, it’s time to think about winter track and conditioning! Coach Sturdevant will begin practices on Monday, January 9 at 3:40, between the gyms. We will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday’s through the start of the spring athletic season to train for our spring and/or summer fitness goals and prepare for athletic teams and seasons this spring!
