|Located in the heart of Raleigh, St. David's has the luxury of convenience. Five minutes from the I-440 beltline, and seconds from North Hills shopping center, we are blessed to have a wonderful array of facilities on our main campus. For outdoor lessons and science classes, the Raleigh Greenway is within walking distance. Our cross country team has miles of trails at their fingertips, and our Lower School students benefit from nature walks near Crabtree Creek. Our athletic facilities have recently expanded with the addition of a 30-acre satellite athletic complex. Having recently completed a major building phase, our facilities are modern and well-equipped. |
St. David's facilities are also used by organizations in our community. Churches use our chapel, weddings are often held there, and our new dining hall accommodates receptions as well. Our two gyms have hosted both volleyball and basketball 2A state tournaments, as well as countless school and community athletic events. From our annual commencement exercises to community events that draw over 1,000 people like "Silver Ring Thing," St. David's gym spaces have multiple uses. Our Performing Arts Center is state of the art and boasts stadium seating; there is no "bad" seat in the house.
Our camps and summer programs use our facilities throughout the vacation months. Community members have the opportunity to enroll their children in everything from Fun Camp to Jumpstart to camps emphasizing everything from digital imaging to French cuisine. All are welcome to take part in our summer opportunities. In 2013, we began opening new fields and courts on our satellite facility, located about nine minutes from our main campus.
We strive to use our facilities to fulfill our mission of providing opportunities for our students to excel in the vital areas of faith, virtue, and knowledge. We invite you to visit our beautiful campus.
