Arts and Enrichment Camps: Week 1
Another Opening! Another Show!
Instructors: Cindy Darden, St. David’s Fine Arts Chair, and Jason Peck, St. David’s Director of Theater
Grades: 3-7
Explore the world of musical theater! We will sing, dance and act our way through a production that is sure to captivate the audience on our closing day of camp. Absolutely no experience is necessary. Just come ready for fun as we discover the joys of performing.

Week 2
Summertime Art Camp
Instructor: Tami Hargrove, St. David's School Lower School Art Teacher
Grades: 1-5
Dive in with us as we explore underwater worlds in search of fishy art projects and boat loads of fun! Our treasures will include learning about the life and work of children’s book writer and illustrator Eric Carle and making our own beach inspired collage, creating a fishy ceramic tile, and other exciting ocean-inspired art projects!

Hook Me Up!
Instructor: Pam Hofer, St. David's School Lower School Teacher
Grades: K-8
Spend a fun filled week fishing and exploring our local lakes, ponds, and streams. Come learn how to throw a cast net, fly fish and explore different aquatic ecosystems. We will catch fish, salamanders, turtles, crawfish and many more exciting animals. Bring your own fishing pole and we'll supply the tackle. Mrs. Hofer will be assisted by two of St. David's high school students who are fishing pros!

Bon Appetit!–French Cooking for Kids
Instructor: Tedi Fagan, St. David’s School Teacher
Grades: 4-7
Explore the country of France and its culinary delights in this “tasty” camp, while learning a little French language along the way! Put on your apron and your chef’s hat as we prepare classic French
cuisine, including crépes, French onion soup, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and more. Campers will design their own recipe book to take home. On the last day of camp, we’ll take a lunch field trip to “Coquette,” a local French bistro.

It’s Showtime!
Instructor: Katy Wilson, St. David’s Alumna
Grades: 2-4
There’s no business like show business! A high-energy camp for little performers. Singing, dancing and dress-up all week long! Learn songs, simple choreography, play stage games and get ready for a final performance that offers every camper a moment to shine on stage!

Week 4
LEGO® Fun!
Instructor: Tedi Fagan, St. David’s Lower School Teacher
Grades: Pre-Kindergarten - 3
Calling all LEGO lovers! Dig into thousands of LEGO’s and build to your heart’s content. Mornings will be spent creating each builder’s own design from tall towers to castles to spaceships and beyond. We will take a break from building to enjoy a snack and some free time. Then, it is back to work building again! Don’t let your LEGO lover miss out!

Week 5
St. David’s Doll Camp
Instructor: Karen Bornhofen, St. David's School Lower School Teacher
Grades: 3-5
Attention all doll fans! A highlight of this camp will involve painting a piece of furniture for your doll. We will also make crafts and keepsakes such as doll shirts, purses, rugs, aprons, tie-dye, doll comforters and quilts, pillows, and matching jewelry for the girls and the dolls. Camp will end on Friday with an old-fashioned slumber party that participating campers will help plan and prepare. Light up the Stage!
Instructor: Katy Wilson, St. David’s Alumna
Grades: 4-6
A camp for students interested in acting, singing and dancing. Campers will learn stage etiquette, play drama games, learn lines, and present a final production. This is a perfect camp for anyone interested in trying out for a school production or for those who just need a little stage confidence!
