The first step in applying is to complete an Online Inquiry. If you have submitted an online inquiry, please check for an existing admission portal account.

Whether you simply want to request information, or choose to apply for admission, this form is the first step. Upon completion of the form, we will send you information regarding the application process, as well as upcoming admissions events. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus soon!

We invite you to join us for an admissions tour and information session.

An Admissions Tour and Information Session typically consists of a reception, an admissions presentation, a campus tour, and an opportunity to meet and speak with members of the Admissions Office, school administrators, and current parents and students. Registration for on-campus events will begin in mid-August.

We want to get to know your child and your family! To initiate the formal application process, please log in to your admissions portal account to complete the following forms:

• Student Questionnaire (for applicants to grades 5 through 12)

In addition, a $75 fee is required for each applicant.

A Student Visit Day provides an opportunity for a prospective student to experience the St. David’s School community firsthand and to have a glimpse of the school day and the campus in action. A Student Visit Day is required of all applicants, with the exception of applicants to Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. (In lieu of individual classroom visits, small group assessment visits are scheduled for students applying to Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.) Students applying to grades 1 through 12 are required to visit campus for a half-day visit.  All students will visit in their current grade, with the exception of applicants to 9th grade, who will visit in the 9th grade. Upon submitting your child’s application, please contact the Admissions Office to schedule a visit or assessment day experience for your child.  (Summer applicants are not required to have a classroom visit but will interview with a member of the Admissions Office staff.)

Teacher Recommendation Forms:
Applicants to Pre-Kindergarten through grade 4 are asked to submit a Teacher Evaluation Form completed by their current teacher.

Applicants to grades 5 through 12 are required to submit three Teacher Evaluation Forms completed by the following current teachers: English/Language Arts, Math, and a Community Coach or Activity Leader.

Academic Records:
Students apply to grades 1 through 12 are required to submit academic records for the two most recent academic years, including  progress reports, report cards or transcripts.

Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 2:

Applicants to Pre-Kindergarten through grade 2 are required to complete a pre-scheduled age-appropriate admission assessment. You can reserve your child's space for an admissions assessment visit directly via your child's Admissions Portal account.

Grades 3-4:

Students applying for admission to grades 3 and 4 are required to take the ISEE Primary, (Independent School Entrance Exam – Primary Level), a grade level appropriate standardized admissions assessment.

The ISEE Primary consists of both mathematics and reading comprehension achievement tests, and an essay portion that demonstrates a student's writing ability.  Visit the ISEE website for additional information and to schedule your child’s ISEE testing.  (NOTE:  Parents of applicants should contact the Admissions Office for a date specific registration code.)

Grades 5-12:

Students applying for admission into grades 5 through 12 are required to complete a standardized admissions assessment. Families may choose from the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). 

Both the ISEE and the SSAT consist of verbal and quantitative ability tests, mathematics and reading comprehension achievement tests, and an essay that demonstrates a student's writing skills. Visit the ISEE website or the SSAT website for additional information or to schedule your child’s testing.
