MS LAX Routs Ravens

The middle school lacrosse Warriors completed a season sweep of Ravenscroft with a 10-2 road rout Friday afternoon. The Ravens scored first, but Owen Hoffman won the ensuing face-off and scored. He gave SDS the lead with another goal three minutes later that started a string of 10 unanswered goals. “We were a little flat to start,” said coach Steve Baker, whose team is 9-0. “Owen got us started and we did what good teams do for the rest of the game. We have multiple scoring threats and are hard to defend when they are all clicking.” St. David’s had six different scorers, led by Walker Ward with three goals. Hoffman and Macon Merriman scored twice, while Sam Crosby, Nolan Homeister and Howard Brooks each found the net once.
