Health and Safety
St. David’s School strives to provide a healthy, safe and secure environment for students, faculty and staff.
The health and well-being of our students and employees is vitally important to St. David's School. We have a team of health professionals available on campus daily to support the needs of all members of the school.
Our school counselor is dedicatedto serving the social and emotional needs of each student by providing a comprehensive school counseling program designed to support student achievement. Services for students, parents, school staff and the community include:
- School Counseling Core Curriculum – Structured lessons to provide students with the knowledge, attitudes and skills that are developmentally appropriate
- Individual Student Planning – Assistance for students in establishing personal goals and developing future plans
- Responsive Services – Counseling activities designed to meet individual needs or concerns; may include individual or small-group counseling
- Indirect Student Services – Collaboration with parents, teachers and community agencies to work on behalf of the students (Based on the American School Counselor Association National Model)
Using Magnus Health electronic student medical records, these providers collaborate with each other to track student needs and record interactions. Through this software, parents can update student records and print medical paperwork.
I love the teachers at St. David's. I feel safe here. I can pray freely and there are so many friendly staff members and classmates. I am challenged in a good way. I love St. David's.Dillon '24
The safety and security of our students and employees is of utmost importance. We continually review and modify our safety procedures, which include a first-responders team, emergency drills, and visitor tracking on campus. Each member of the St. David's community has a part in the safety on our campus.
